DARRYL’s STORY

Darryl Harmon’s roots run deep in New Jersey, where food was always at the center of family life. From riding with his father on dairy truck deliveries to local restaurants, to the legendary soul food his mother cooked for their community, Darryl grew up surrounded by kitchens, flavor, and hospitality.

As a teenager, he found his way into Atlantic City’s resort hotels, where his natural ease and talent pushed him quickly through the ranks. Those years shaped him into a dynamic, all-round chef: high-volume, every cuisine, no room for mistakes. By 25, he was Executive Chef at Philadelphia’s landmark, Water Works; by his early thirties, he was consulting across New York leading the expansion of the Clinton Hall burger brand, making TV appearances and steadily building a reputation and loyal following.

Now, with Harmon Hospitality, the story evolves. It’s the platform that channels Darryl’s versatility, charisma, and craft into something lasting: soulful concepts with bold food and a guest-first focus — as fun as they are refined.
